Instructions how to load money by using miniUSB-cable

 
We recommend that you use MiniUSB-cable for reloading purposes whenever it is possible. It is faster method, and Comet clock is updated every time You reload by using cable.
 
Plese note: there has to be Comet USB driver installed, before you can load money into Comet by using MiniUSB-cable. Operating system has to be Windows XP/Vista/7 (32/64 bit), and browser Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. You have to have Administrator privileges to install driver. Reloading by using cable is not suitable for other operating systems or browsers. To install Comet USB-driver see instructions at www.cometpark.se -> "Comet settings".
 
It is usefull to install Comet USB driver and use cable in other occasions too, because also updating Comet parameters/ Comet software and Comet clock requires using of MiniUSB-cable. Also reading your parking records requires MiniUSB-cable.
 
 
RELOADING MONEY BY USING CREDIT CARD
 
1) Check out that Comet is switched off
2) Connect Comet to computer by using MiniUSB-cable
3) ”USB” will appear in Comet display
4) Click ”Connect to my Comet” -button. After you have clicked it, there will appear Comet serial number, and bank balance of your Comet written in blue.
5) You may see your reloading history from the link below the button, if needed
6) Fill in all fields necessary concerning your credit card infromation. Card number is printed in front of the card, and CVC/CVV (card verification code, 3 digits) is printed behind the card next to signature field (Mastercard and Visa). CVC is printed in front of an American Express Card (4 digits)
7) After filling in all the details of your card and sum of money to add, click ”Total charge” –button.
8) You will see total charge with added service fee. Fee is not depending on the selected payment type.
9) Next, you may confirm the payment by clicking the ”Make payment” –button, which is activated. If you choose to click ”Decline”, you may change the details of payment.
10) After clicking ”Make payment” –button, site checks out the details of your card. ”Payment accepted” appears on your screen, if payment was OK.
11) If te payment was OK, the selected sum of money will automatically be transferred to Comet. Please note: Comet has to be connected to the cable whole payment process.
12) After money is transferred to your Comet, there will appear ”OK. Money loaded OK, Comet can be disconnected”.
13) After this message is displayed, you may disconnect Comet. You may also print a receipt or send it to your mail.
14) REMEMBER TO CHECK that saldo of your Comet has increased. Switch on your Comet and you will see amount of kronor after BANK text on Comet display. Please note; Comet saldo increases only amount of SUM OF MONEY TO ADD, not amount of total charge.
 
RELOADING MONEY BY USING INTERNET BANKS
 
1) Check out that Comet is switched off
2) Connect Comet to computer by using MiniUSB-cable
3) ”USB” will appear in Comet display
4) Click ”Connect to my Comet” -button. After you have clicked it, there will appear Comet serial number, and bank balance of your Comet written in blue.
5) You may see your reloading history from the link below the button, if needed
6) Scroll down on page. You will find ”Pay by internet banks” form.
7) Fill in all required fields, sum of money to add and your internet bank.
8) After filling all the details, click ”Make payment” –button
9) You will see next page, where you can see total charge (selected reloading sum added with 5% service fee) and you may confirm your payment. You can click the "confirm payment" –button to confirm payment and continue to your internet bank page. You may cancel payment, by clicking the ”Avbryt”-button (cancel).
10) If you chose "confirm payment" you will be directed to your internet bank. Make payment there by using your security codes etc.
11) When you have confirmed payment at your internet banks page, you will return to our page. Please note: when you return to our page, DO NOT click on BACK/FORWARD buttons of a broswer or any other buttons, until you see our page, where you fill in details of internet bank payment.
12) DO NOT DISCONNECT COMET. After you return from your internet bank, the selected sum of money will be transferred to your Comet 
13) After money is transferred to your Comet, there will appear a message ”Money loaded OK, Comet can be disconnected”.
14) After this message is displayed, you may disconnect your Comet. You may also print a receipt or send it to your mail.
15) REMEMBER TO CHECK OUT that bank balance of your Comet has increased amount of selected sum. Switch on your Comet and you will see amount of kronor following BANK text on Comet display. Please note: Comet bank balance increases only amount of ”SUM OF MONEY TO ADD”, not amount of total charge.
